		<description>Scott,

I just wanted to let you know that I wrote a little (ok, not so little) post on my experience of being in an innovative / intrapreneurial group inside a product driven company.

This is the background to what drove my response to your great posts - some logic and a little emotional (though not too much - I'm a Brit) response. Fortunately nothing alcohol fuelled, unlike those emails that you always regret sending.

If anyone would like to see my experience (not implying expert status, more that I've been through 18 months or more of this 'stuff'), feel free to read it at: &lt;a href="http://improving-nao.blogspot.com/2006/08/solutions-innovation-in-product-driven.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;Solutions innovation in a product driven company&lt;/a&gt;

Again, thanks for firing a couple of great posts, and corresponding synapses.

Cheers

 Scott Gatz picks up on the conversation he started on Intrapreneurship with a thoughtful summarizing post. I had noted that Intrapreneurs take less personal risk than Entrepreneurs. While I thought my point was largely true -- following strong opinion...</description>

		<description>Scott,

My intention wasn't to condense you. Your story was far more interesting in its completeness than my comment! I was just translating it a little based on my predicament...

By the way, I agree with your business CASE, not plan. I have suffered paralysis through analysis in the past and could be accused of over-planning. I WILL learn from my mistakes!

I still believe that certain organizations will only react well to ideas when the organizational head is on the block. Insight into my predicament again maybe?!

Keep up the great posts.

Phil
